out of 5 stars MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE JIM REEVES ALBUM NOW ON CD Reviewed in the United States on August 6, Verified Purchase. My dad had this LP record back in the early 60's and I recall watching my parents dance to his music. As I got older I fell in love with his music and at one time I owned over of his LP's /5(37).

I have been waiting for the release of the original "Gentleman Jim" album since the CDs first came on the market, and have never understood why this very big selling album, which reached no 2 in the UK album charts on original release (before Jim Reeves death) and was continually available on vinyl for almost twenty years/5(39).

This version has the side indicators on the labels in small text, right under the catalog number, unlike Gentleman Jim, where the indication of the sides is a little further down on the labels and with larger text. The first catalog number can be found on the front and back cover, the second on spine and labels.
